Isaac they have allredy showed up! december & january are the best months but as always there's no better time than the present, you can't catch em if your'e not on the water. go know go often the one thing it takes to catch a steelhead is time on the water, that next cast could be the one! I'm excited I must go tie up some leaders now. Best of luck!!! <)

Catfishing at Lacamas - 4:05 p.m. 11/18/2008
Sorry for not posting sooner, but my daughter and I went to Lacamas to do some catfishing last Thursday(Nov. 13th)night. Used chicken liver for bait. We were out for about 2-2 1/2 hours and we caught 7 channel cats total. We put two small ones back, kept 4 at about 12" and one over 18".

Swift Update - 12:27 p.m. 11/18/2008
Must have just missed you on Sunday Chester!!! A nice lad already on the lake helped pull the end of the dock out of the way and used my deep V to cut a path through all the debrit at around 830 AM. Was fishing (along with the three boats that followed me out) by 845. Three poles, half ounce lead, 20 to 25 pulls out (80 to 120 feet of water)put 13 fish in the boat by 1230. Not as fast and furious as last Sunday but still good. And what a beautiful Fall day!!! The only thing more entrancing than the weather was watching a 6 and 9 year old boat all those fish!!! Good Luck!

The North Fork is fishable again. Drifting eggs ought to do the trick.

Swift Boat Launch - 4:38 p.m. 11/17/2008
I attempted to go to Swift Creek 20081116. Arrived at 7:30 after assisting in clearing 1 lane of the road from a rock slide. The end of the dock had blown closed and the boat launch was filled with logs and debris. Was not able to launch or fish. Does anyone know if this has been cleared?

What kind of shape is Swift in? It went from 15' to 3' below full pool in the past 48 hours.

Swift still producing - 10:14 a.m. 11/14/2008
Fished swift on 11-10-08. Limited out two people in under two hours. Half ounce of weight at 30 to 40 pulls. Didn't seem to matter what type of lure or corn combination. Didn't keep one fish under 14". Really a good fishing opportunity if the csf's on the river don't drop into shape this weekend. Good luck!!
