Over 250 people attended a picnic fundraiser at the site of the future Ridgefield Refuge Overlook Park in downtown Ridgefield on August 25, 2007. Barbequed chicken, beans, salads, drinks, and all kinds of dessert were served. Everyone was impressed with the view of The Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge from the site.
