Woodland Veteran's Day services took place on a beautiful November 11, 2006 morning, under partly cloudy skies. The event started at 11:00 A.M. Mayor Doug Monge and several other dignitaries spoke about the debt of gratitude we owe to all our veterans. There was a fly over of jets but the low clouds prevented them from being seen. This is a very emotional event. The rifle salute was particularly moving as was a rendition on the bag pipes.Click here for more pictures of the 2006 observance.
